Maybe that's the place of optimum temp ??

Maybe check the temps under the other two hides with a digital temp gun or a decent thermometer that reads surface temps ( so not one of those useless stick on ones ..

Haven't been back through the thread so if you've already done that just ignore me completely..

All temps were checked by temp gun at the time of posting. It's in my original post if you want to take a look.

She is in her warm side. Hottest spot is 89°F but she scootched her hide back to an 85° spot. She herself is 84°. Cool side is 79° and ambient is about that as well. Humidity is about 52% but I am misting regularly as she is pretty deep in blue, as you can see from pictures. Heates by a uth (on thermostat of course) and a che on the center of the screen lid. She last fed Wednesday morning (early in the a.m.). The back and one side of her tank are covered by a sheet for more security.

I am used to her draping herself over her hides and she does seem to favor that corner, but I haven't ever seen her just stay there for days. However, I have only had her 3.5 months. Am I just being paranoid?

Like others have said seems about right. Mine does not want to even be looked at in blue. When she’s not in shed she is a peach. But in shed she thinks she is a big scary lion lol.
