    Two new houseguests....

My brother just moved into the extra bedroom(the animal room) in my apt. because he will be living up here for a while to go to school. His school University of NO) was shut down because of the hurricane mess. He had been wanting a boa for a while and I had the extra room, so he picked up one today when he passed by Exotics by Nature on his way back up here. He ended up getting a Columbian/Hogg Island Cross. It is a great looking little snake...fiesty...has already drawn blood And of course he took pics so I could post The pics dont do him justice.... he has a pinkish tint to his belly, and is generally grayish colored....here they are:

    Oh ya....his name is Loki

hey, thats my snake. yeah, pics definitely don't do him justice, i will try and post some more that look better once he gets used to his surroundings and i learn how to post pics, that might help huh. And just as a side note i was the one he tagged and drew blood, figures the first day i have a snake i get tagged and my bro has had his for a while and hasn't got bitten once. thats just my bad luck.

That's what you get for buying a part hogg boa. I've got some tooth marks from my hoggie right now.

    Nice looking boa though.

How long does it take for brothers to settle in? We seem to have forgotten about him and just gone straight to the hogg

LOL I'm thinking more about Daniel's new wife with the extra brother-in-law and his new snake. Hope you brought her candy Jonathon and remember the toilet seat goes down!

Sorry you got tagged. I've yet to be bit, peed on, pooped on or musked but I figure my day is coming too. Hope Loki settles in well for you. Lovely looking snake!

From my experience, they are very high strung. Not aggressive at all, just easily set off.. if that makes any sense. lol I suppose comparable to a retic?
