Not sure where to post this, but THANK YOU! Let's hear it for BP.net!

I just wanted to take a minute and say, THANK YOU, to everyone who makes this site great.

I have been a member for a long time, but recently, began posting more and being more active in the community.

I have 5 different species of reptiles (and have kept reptiles more than half my life), and have researched many more and spent years reading up on husbandry and care. I also research for a living, so weird, but I enjoy it. I also enjoying helping other people and sharing my knowledge or helping to get other people involved who know more!

This community is awesome. I am learning so much and appreciate those who feel I contribute as well. I greatly appreciate the sense of community and how we stick together and back each other up.

I am really glad I have devoted more time to this site and I am so happy I have gotten to know all of you!

Thank you for caring about my animals and helping me do what's best for them.

Thank you users who frequently post, thank, or just read, wanting what's is best for their reptiles and the reptile community.

Thank you moderators for keeping this site running smoothly and focused.

I posted a minute ago in another thread about how many people move too fast in this hobby and/or don't want to hear what's best for their animals, and ultimately burn out quickly. So important to have a resource like this site to help reptile owners, breeders, people considering a reptile, etc. do the best for their animals and help the reptile community thrive.

    So, in closing:

    THANK YOU!

P.S. I know this was a little sappy, but I really do appreciate this site and everyone who makes it great.

    Hear hear !!!!!

    I agree with everything.

This is the ONLY community I find worth coming to. On so many levels. And the only one I recommend to anyone that gets a hatchling from me or talks "reptiles" with me.

I'm still not convinced the moderators aren't actually "robots" like in Westworld, though. They never seem to loose their cool, they always stay fair, they never get sucked into drama. Boy, do they bleed? jk, you mods are awesome !!!

This forum has been of HUGE value to me. Before I got my ball python I would google questions and 90% of the time this forum would pop up. So I read a bunch of stickies and threads to soak up as much information as possible. Because of all the great information here- I was able to setup a nice enclosure before my snake arrived. It's been a little over a year and my big girl is very healthy and happy I'm thankful for all the members and moderators who take their time to write up helpful posts for new people. Keep up the good work!

Thank you! I only have one ball python so I am certainly not the most experienced person on the forum but I know enough to be able to help others out. That's why I like this community so much! Everyone is so kind, helpful, and really want what's best for other people and their animals.

    LOL . Robots, huh?

Yeah, I often wonder, if a moderator gets bit by a snake, do they bleed?

I also tell all my snake people to join this forum as it will be lifesaver for them. I have at least three of my customers from work here!

@Dakski, thanks for starting this thread. The mods and admin certainly don't receive the accolades or appreciation they deserve.

@Kira, thanks for sharing your story and advocating for exactly what the forum is here for. Your story is a perfect example of newbies learning and then graduating to helping others to learn.

This forum is an invaluable resource for everybody from the curious onlooker considering snakes as a pet right through experienced breeders and herpotologists sharing their experiences and knowledge.

Thanks to all who make it happen!
