very glad to hear that! patience and persistence, keep it up!
i have an Amel, 2 Corns total. i'm lucky that both would eat prey right off of my tongs if offered in such a manner. i mean they won't even strike. i just put it right in front of their snoot and they bit and go through the slow process of swallowing.

Re: So pleased
Thanks Ax01 I was beginning to wonder if there was something wrong as he had no feeding response.
when I was assist feeding I only had to open his mouth and put it in then it would eat himself that’s what I couldn’t work out I would leave him 2/3 weeks sometimes to try make him hungry so he would try him self
But patients had definitely paid off .all the little hypos in the litter ate like pigs straight off, just the two amels
all my Litter of boas ate straight away too last year

i haven't hatched my own anything yet, so i'm fortunate that my Colubrids ate right off the bat. i remember being so worried that my Avalanche won't eat b/c he was hiding all the time and thought he was sold too small, too early. i put him back in the delicup i bought him in w/ a pinkie and he ate. pix after 1st meal w/ me.
now he comes out hunting when he smells food.
Edit: hopefully i'll hatch my first BP's this year and fingers and tails crossed that they will eat right away. i'm just so worried they won't. i've heard people losing whole clutches of GTP's b/c they won't eat. GTP's, Corns, BP's, etc. are different species but it's so worrisome when they won't eat and heartbreaking when u lose the babies.

So pleased
Very cute indeed .
Yes I would be upset to loose whole clutches to non feeders that’s for sure ,it’s quite rewarding breeding your snakes ,Just having to give them up and finding suitable owners who care as much as you do is the worst thing
My sons first snake was a snow corn, which ended up escaping after a few months and we found it 7 months later 3doors up,they was pulling there conservatory down and he fell Out the roof.they was pretty freaked out lol, luckily there don knew mine and we got him back,he grown a fair bit ,so he must of fed him self and hibernated thru our winter which was -7/8 some nights ,just Shows there survival instincts,
Good luck with your breeding
