Dumeril
BOo,
just thought I'd say hi.
(to add something relevant so I dont feel dumb)
Any of you dumeril boa owners go without hides?
Mine never uses them (he just burrows). Im thinking about taking out my un-realistic flower pot hides and adding more follage and driftwood...
Thoughts?

Re: Dumeril
I think I'd leave the hide in there, just in case. I don't have a Dumeril, but I have a milk snake that loves to burrow... but he always burrows under the hides. It serves as extra protection to him, I guess.
Is your Dumeril burrowing under the hide or just anywhere?

She is right I keep a pair of them and 80% of the time they burrow but I do catch them in there hides,

Re: Dumeril
surprisingly, I never see him in his hides. never.
He much prefers burrowing in the aspen with his nose sticking out ready to pounce.
maybe Ill experiment with different hides... he may just not like the ones he has. Who knows.
