Skin problem

Not exactly sure what this is. Either it's incredibly persistent shed or some type of skin rash? No idea. I don't own the snake, it belongs to a friend of mine, but I have been able to work with it, and have soaked her, run her through wet cloths, and placed her in containers of moist sphagnum. None of this has gotten rid of the problem. I'm not sure what to do. My options are limited because I don't actually own the bp, though I may be able to get her to a vet with persistance.

Hi,

Looks like the very top layer of the new skin got stuck to the old shed and peeled off with it during the shedding process.

The only fix is to wait until the next shed - make sure they keep the humidity is a little higher for that one. Nothing you can do at the moment will make any difference to it but it will cause the snake no problems.
