    Greetings All

I have a 9 year old pair of Dumerils Boas.
The female is about 1,8 meters in length and the male is about 2 meters in length.

I will try to post some pics, sorry if they don't come out, it is my first attempt at posting pics on this Forum.

    Your Girl is awesome.

My female can be a bit feisty, in terms of not wanting to be held, she never strikes out though, just fights to get away.
The male is so laidback that my 3 year old grandaughter strokes him and plays with him.

Thanks. My girl only really shows any sign of apprehension when i offer her a FT weaned rat lol. She coils up, puffs up and strikes at it like a machine gun and then runs off at top speed haha. Never seen a snake scared of food. Although if you lay it down on a piece of cardboard next to a FT mouse, she will come over, eat the mouse and then eat the rat. Go figure

    Re: My Dumerils Boas

These two of mine smash a jumbo rat every 14 days.
I actually suspect that my male is over weight.

I will post a pic of me holding him.
But I don't know who is more over weight, me or him.

Thats what overfeeding does. Makes snakes grow bigger faster.....and shortens their lives by about 10 years or more. Grats on your achievements power feeding king!! That is my new name for you, you are no longer Dutti, you will be known as 'Power Feeding King' to me Is that dumerils up to 400+ gram jumbo rats too? Or is it eating goats yet? Lol.

That's so interesting your dumeril's are all apprehensive towards food! Mine just bites the head and doesn't wrap, maybe sometimes throws one loose coil over the rat and then starts eating. But she has never been scared of anything really. I got her when she was 2 years old and about 3.5 feet.
