Re: Good next snake..?
Ok! So if I were to pick between a red tail boa, central American boa, or a rosy boa, which would you recommend? I'm wanting something that's pretty chill and docile. My mom doesn't like huge snakes, I think 7-8ish ft is the largest she'll go. Thanks again

I don't know much about Kenyans. I assume you mean Kenyan Sand Boas. I would check out a BI. The are more tolerant husbandry wise than BCs. The cost sort of depends on the morph you get. I like Hypos and Sunglows myself.

If you like all of these equally and want chill and docile and small, then rosy boa is the best option!
Red tails or even BCI are large (comparatively). True red tails/suriname can get up to 10 feet and are really thick and strong.

Re: Good next snake..?
Currently all of my snakes are ball pythons. (I also have 2 crested geckos.) If I got another snake species, I think it would probably be either a rainbow boa or blood python.

Re: Good next snake..?
I don't know if you're fully set on boas yet but I just wanna say a few things for colubrids If you wanna get something different there are plenty of colubrids other then just the basic kingsnakes and cornsnakes. Have you ever looked into old world colubrids? They are beautiful and so unique, I used to think the same that colubrids were less interesting then boas and pythons but now they are some of my favorites!
I have two ball pythons as well and the next snake I'm looking into getting is Vietnamese Blue Beauty, they are absolutely beautiful and make great display snakes, all Beauty Snakes do lol They are a bit less tame as babies but with patience and handling they can be great!
Also a big dream snake of mine is the Russian Ratsnake! They are known so much for their looks (Although I absolutely love how they look lol) but their personalities is what stands out! They are one of the only snakes that actually enjoy being handled and are said to be super intelligent and very inquisitive. Just look up some videos of them on YouTube, they are so cute!
There are lots of other super beautiful ones as well. And their care is typically very simple, they just need a bit more room to roam sense colubrids are pretty active lol I have nothing against boas and pythons, I love them just as much I just thought I'd put in a few suggestions for colubrids as well

I'd suggest a Rhino nosed Rat snake if you go down the route mentioned above . Fabulous looking , inquisitive 24/7 and very placid ..

Hog Island Boas are AWESOME animals, relatively inexpensive and yet a BIG, BIG female would be 7ft or less. My five year old female is about 6ft and close to the diameter of a baseball. Males stay even smaller. Just make sure you buy a pure hog, some of them are crossed with BCI or even BCC sometimes and as a result , those specific animals get a little bigger.
You're suggesting looking at a smaller boa....I can't believe no one said "Hog Island" yet.
Consider it. I LOVE my girl.
