    Re: how old

If I had to guess, I'd say she was born in early '04, possibly late "03. Anyone else want to hazard a guess? Adam?

I'd agree with Smynx. But that's assuming that the snake was well cared for before you got her.

i got her from this petstore called petacular. if anyone is from the bay area youve prolly seen the commercial. she looked ok when i got her but the store in general is horrible, the ball pythons they have now are so skinny and have prolly never eatin. im guessin that my female is probably a 03, but im not sure any other guesses?

If it's been fed well, it could have hatched in early spring of 04 ... march maybe ... and brought into the country in one of the first batches.

she was captive bred, the petstore is just way under staffed(thats why the conditions are so bad) if thats what is making you think she was WH.

I am sure that they told you that she was. They might have even purchased her as CB ... the reality is that because of the numbers of CH babies brought into the country each year vs. the number of captive bred ball pythons wholesaled only a very small percentage of the ball pythons sold in pet stores in the US are really captive bred. Odds are that if you got your ball python as a baby from a pet store, it is CH.

It's like used cars ... you'll never find a single used car on a lot that's been in an accident.
