Silicone fumes - should I wait?

So long story short we transferred to a new apartment. Tapioca is in a temporary tub setup with a uth that's he's been staying in for a couple of days while we get everything set up. I had plans to set his cage back up but today maintenance arrived to replace one of the windows in the room Tappy's cage is in.

They used silicone and when asked how long would it take to cure I was quoted 24 hours, but the guy felt it would be fine in a few hours until the smell is cleared. Currently I have the fan going to keep it ventilated and the other window opened.

My question is, should I wait an extra day before setting Tapioca's cage back up and putting him back in? Or am I overthinking it and it be fine to do so tonight providing there's no smell in the room? Two hours have passed so far and the smell is near gone already.

For now Tappy's tub is in my bedroom away from the room in question. But ambient temp downstairs is sitting at 73 and come night time I know it will get colder. I have his uth set to 89, so I'm hoping that will help.

Tomorrow is also feeding day. While he's been a fantastic eater (he's a savage now lol) for me so far, I'm worried the move will have stressed him enough that he may not eat this week.

I was told to wait at least 12 hours. We might not be able to smell anything after a few hours but it doesn’t mean they’re not still present

Better safe than sorry. I'd probably wait the 24 hours for offgasing

Thank you! I'm going to hold off and play it safe. Im hoping even if the ambient dips down to 70 that his UTH will keep him warm for the night.
