    Freeway for the win!

In pictures I was having a hard time deciding which I liked better, highway or freeway. I was leaning towards highway because I really liked highway pastels but seeing how highway ages I started to think freeway may be a better choice because they are darker to start and therefore hold their color a little better. I guess I’ll find out because at the Tinley Park show today, I saw a lot of highways but only a couple freeways and the freeways just looked a lot bolder and better IMO so I ended up bringing one home. I’d like to eventually make pastel freeways and super asphalts with him because those are actually my top choices but out of my price range so this little guy will have to do for now.

Whoa! No speeding with that freeway, haha. Amazing. Really smart choice with the projects you have planned.

Wow beautiful! I love the darker morphs so I probably would have gone with freeway as well

I want it! I really was stuck on what other morph I would like to have someday, and this one struck me like lightning! What a beauty, these would sell like hotcakes me thinks.

edit: WHOA!!!, just saw the price tag on MorphMarket... I am not surprised. One of the best morphs I have yet to see.

I absolutely love, love LOVE that pickup! I have a highway or freeway on my wish list, hoping they're in my budget sooner than later.
    Congrats on a beautiful addition!

I was shocked at how much the highways had come down, some breeders had them as low as $675 which I actually think is too low, it was hard to walk past but luckily he had 3 so I figured I had time to walk around to make my decision. I had not seen one freeway yet. I saw a few more highways in the $700-$800 range so the first one wasn’t too far off but the cheapest I had seen them before was $1200 so I was surprised and kind of happy because I knew I had enough to get one but then I found my freeway. Quite a bit more at $1250 but it’s what I really wanted and I don’t think I saw any others there so without the competition he could ask whatever he wanted. That’s the only reason I can think of for why the highways were so much cheaper is that there were just a lot more of them there making the pricing more competitive. They are not hard to make though so I’m sure it won’t take long before both are at a more affordable going rate, it’s just how things work. Hopefully by then I’ll have some pastel freeways and super asphalts which I’m sure will still be fetching a pretty high dollar next year. Guess we’ll see. I just wanted one of them since the first time I saw one so regardless of future breeding potential, I’m just happy to have my little beauty to enjoy
