    First Failed Feeding

I just had my snake refuse to eat for the first time. I have had him for 3 months and he has eaten great every week since then until tonight.

All his temps and humidity are good. Just wondering when I should offer food again?

I'd offer again in a week.

Just keep your feeding schedule the same.

That's a BP for ya!! There can be a number of reasons it does not eat. As you know, temps, humidity, shed, being handled to much, and so on.... These guys like to keep us on our toes, but if you know that your temps and humidity is right on, then just stay on schedule with your feedings and eventually they will eat again. Although, don't be surprised If it goes a month or so without prey. I have friends who have had their BP's go on a hunger strikes for months... and again that's a BP for ya!!

Hey, i wouldn't describe it as a failure but consider rechecking your husbandry, temps and humidity. Also, some reptiles won't feed when they are approaching or in a shed cycle. Make sure he has plenty of fresh water. Consider postponing the next scheduled feeding especially if he shows signs of being in shed. Don't handle him until he begins feeding again regularly.
