    2017 Candino/ Albino clutch.

Well, they all are just about done emerging from their eggs except for two from this five egg clutch. Sadly, there was one egg that went bad very late in the incubation and was located at the bottom of the clutch with three other eggs attached to it. Over the past two weeks the egg appeared to get several areas of poor calcification and discoloration. The discoloration just progressed and eventually covered the whole egg. I wasn't able to access it as it was on the bottom of the clutch with three other eggs attached to it. Another hatchling remains in the egg at this point. I believe there are two Candinos and 1 albino at this point.

The top one I believe is albino, they are both females.

Thanks Still, it's really perplexing about the hatchling that didn't survive. It was absolutely fine up until 2 weeks ago when these things started to happen. Temps and humidity were all stable with no issues at all throughout. Makes me think it was genetic in some way.

Yea I hate loosing a hatchling it's hard. And I know that feeling all too well. At least you got a few good ones out of the clutch.

Thanks zina. I wonder if the darker hatchlings may be high contrast albino/ candinos? 2 females, 2 males.
