Hello I found a Corn snake outside today, it's very small i live in N.E. West Virginia and ive never seen a wild corn before, could it be wild or a loose baby pet? Im wanting to keep this snake but he/she is very small not very old at all is there anything i can try to feed it. Ive never had a small snake like this before what should i do?

You could give it to me w/ free shipping It might be against the law in your area to keep WC animals without a license or something.

Are pinkies too big for it to try?

Re: classic Okeetee phase CORN FOUND OUTSIDE
Corn hatchlings do feed on small pinkies. My little Trixie (had to change from lil Booger!), has the smallest little head and was only 1 week old. I left the pinky in the cage and *poof" it's gone by morning. I fed the first live, but have subsequently fed f/t with no problems. It's amazing since their heads are small that they can actually get the pinky down! Good luck with the little one.

Tixie is now the name... I so enjoyed the name Little Booger and the potential it presented for future posts... Oh well

Unless you live in or very close to Okeetee, South Carolina the Corn you found is just a normal wild-phase Corn (which 'Okeetee' Corns are just another locale of).
