Moving BP back to tank after feeding

I always feed in there enclosure. As long as you do more than open the enclosure on feeding day you should be fine. It's safer feeding inside the enclosure. I couldn't imagine the world of trouble. I would have with my Boa's and carpet pythons. If I had to move them right after they ate.

I'm still a beginner in this process so take whatever I say about this with a healthy grain of salt. One of my snakes is a rescue and is still a very fussy eater. While I mostly try to feed him in his enclosure, sometimes the only way that I can get him to eat is by putting him into a separate enclosure where there are no distractions. It's just him and the warm rodent dangling from my tongs in a darkened room. Having said that, if you do, from time to time, use a separate enclosure to feed your snake, ALWAYS make sure that you WASH YOUR HANDS WELL before you reach into the enclosure to pick up your snake after feeding it. Don't learn the hard way what happens when your snake smells rodent on your hands!! lol
