    Long tongs?

I was at a show this weekend and meant to pick up a set of tongs I saw there, I think they were 24" or something and has a "scissor" design? I cant seem to find them online.

I've been looking for a longer pair since my boa is a nutter when he smells food and keeps getting my fingers

Does anyone have some recommended long tongs that are under $20?

I got my tong in warmart for like 2 dollars(a cooking tong). U can use any tong u want tbh. But since ur boa is "blood thirsty" u just have to get a longer one if that makes any sense. Just go to the store and select one that meets ur standard

There are quite a few online suppliers you should be able to find some them from, like Big Apple, LLL, TSKsupply (TSK didn't have the tongs listed on their site but I'm pretty sure they had them at the last show so you may want to contact them to ask).

I know Reptile Basics carry some, if you're fine with a 18" long instead of 24" if you want to stay under $20.

Personally I haven't found any 24" longs under $25, and RB seemed to have the best deal for me when I ordered mine. You can always try craigslist or eBay.

I bought a set of grilling tongs for about $5 at Big Lots almost ten years ago. Still have them. Lost them a few times in the house, once left them in the yard for about a month until I stepped on them barefoot and found them. Still go "pinchy pinchy" just fine. I feed the monitor lizard with them generally.

I've had long forcep styles and I'm never really happy with them. One wanted to twist with larger prey, one would clamp when I didn't want them to lock down, one rusted just sitting around in the Florida humidity... meh.
