    Hatchling Hasn't Shed...

I had a clutch of 8 start to hatch out on 7/18. The very last baby crawled out of the egg on 7/22 but it still hasn't shed. All other 7 snakes have shed. I am wondering what the heck is going on. Has anyone seen this before?

No... All of mine shed within the first seven days of the last one out. Are you sure it didn't shed? Did you see it go into blue? How much does it weigh?
Honest, I only need one more ...

Yes I have experienced it, sometimes it happens it's rare but some animals for whatever reasons will shed much later than the others, I had one take several more weeks before shedding, it's something you want to keep an eye on you still want to feed him just you do the others.

I didn't see it go into blue however I can tell it hasn't shed because the skin has that "shine" to it. Plus I check everyday. Mist to make sure its not too dry. Especially here in Socal.

Yeah this is unusual for me. All my babies have been like clockwork in the past. I appreciate it.

I had a clutch of 9 babies and one just didn't shed. It simply had that shiny look for about 5 or 6 weeks. It ate just like the others and when it got to be where all of the others were starting to go into their second shed, then it finally had its first.

So the baby I was concerned with still hasn't shed. Now it appears to be going into another shed cycle. Hopefully this is it. He's been eating like a champ though. That's good.
