Pretzel is a male genetic stripe that is estimated to be about a month old. He was rescued from a local petsmart (yes rescued, not bought) a few days ago weighing a frightening 56 grams and dehydrated.
Yesterday he was assist fed a frozen thawed small mouse as he would not eat on his own and he was in dire need of sustinance, being all skin and bones with skin flaps along his tail. Left a nice big bulge but nothing too exessive. (Pinkies were way too tiny and they didn't have hoppers/fuzzies)As of today he hasn't regurgitated and is already getting hydrated.
I want to make a progress thread for him because we were initially terrified he wouldn't make it through the first few days until we could feed him and I would love to see him grow big and strong and healthy and have records of how it began.
Now here's a few pictures of the lil stripey boy! Unfortunately you can see his spine in at least one, but that's soon to be fixed as we will take absolutely excellent care of him!
