    I've always felt like there were quite a few women on the forum and I've seen quite a few ladies at shows, although it seems like there are more women making purchases at shows now.

    That's one thing that seems to be changing too, at shows anyway. When I first attended reptile shows, some vendors literally would not talk to me or acknowledge me standing there, as if I were not interested in spending actual money on a snake. I would have to get their attention, as they passed me by to talk to guys who walked up after me. Now they are more quick to ask me if I'm interested in an animal. I like it.
