Yay Kashmire!
Kashmire's last feeding two weeks ago were two live weanlings. Last week he refused food, so I let him go for a week and tried again on Saturday. He quickly ate the first, but showed no interest in the second, so I took the second out. Today after 48 hours of digesting, he started looking like he "might" be looking for his second mouse. I went ahead and offered it to him (the first one didn't even leave a bulge in him). The first mouse he let come to him. The one this evening he hunted down. He's now ready for another 48 hour nap.
Could this possibly be my same reluctant to eat snake? LOL

Re: Yay Kashmire!
I wouldn't offer a second mouse 2 days after feeding day. You may overload his system, and make him regurge again. When doing multiple mice, you offer them one right after the other on the same feeding day.
Try just offering him one small adult mouse once a week and see if he can get consistent feeding on that for a few weeks.

Re: Yay Kashmire!
I agree with Becky. (although I'm glad Kashmire is eating for you again) If he doesn't eat two then just wait until the next feeding.

Re: Yay Kashmire!
Great to see that Kashmire's starting to show a stronger feeding response Robin. Our Baby was eating young adult mice when we got her at 17" long if that helps you decide (though Baby hadn't been ill or regurged).
We also feed multiple mice to both our snakes but all in one feeding session once per week, just letting the snake take down one and start looking when we offer the next. It took Punkin (the rehome) a few times to get the idea that she was actually getting offered more than one mouse but once they figure it out.....they figure it out LOL!
