Waiting to feed until after shed?

My guy has been ready to shed (pink belly, blue eyes, dull skin) for a few days but has yet to shed. I fed him around a week ago and would feed him again if it wasn't for the fact that he's in shed mode. Should I wait until he does shed and feed him right after or should I try to feed him now?

You can feed in shed, but sometimes they won't eat. I prefer to wait until they shed out, especially if you have 1 snake the rat may just go to waste whether its f/t or live.

I second this one, I have one snake and it usually doesn't act like it wants to eat anyway while it's in shed and so why take a chance and possibly waste a feeder. Cause I know after it sheds and poop's it will be ravenous. And if it looses a little weight it might shed it's skin more in one piece.

I think I'm going to give it another day or so and see if he does come out of it, and if not I'll maybe try a little mouse or something not too overwhelming, more of a little snack lol
