    Lightbulb Pastel BEL

My boy has a yellow tint and was curious if the yellow would fade over time? Overall he's a beautiful little boy, but he's the first snake I've owned, and I have no idea, as far as genetics go what to expect.

    Thanks guys!

What kind of BEL is he? Super lesser, super mojave, lesser Mojave, Ivory (black eyed)? Also post pics!

If by tint you mean the dorsal striping odds are it will intensify. My Lesser/Mojave/Pastel has yellow dorsal striping but the rest of her is pure white. I got her when she was two so I am not sure what she looked like as a baby but her dorsal has intensified since I brought her home.

    Hmmmmm,

From that pic it looks more like a Super Mojave Pastel which would explain the yellow.

    Where did you get it?

I don't know anything about that seller other than what I saw on his site. Looks like a re-seller. Possible he made a mistake. I am pretty sure that is not a Lesser/Mojave but I have made mistakes before. Hopefully someone else that works with BEL animals chimes in.

he breeds and buys collections from other people. This boy was bred in California, I'm contacting that breeder just to confirm.

Please post what you find out. So you know why I don't think lesser/mojave... I have never seen that combo with an eye stripe or any coloration on the head. Super Mojaves tend to have "degrees of whiteness" depending on where they are in the shed cycle. My super mojave tends to look "dirty" as it get's close to shed.
