    Bamboo or clown?

Hmm, I have room for one more. Price stability is better with clowns, right? Maybe I can talk my wife into two more.

Bamboo's suffer from "champagne syndrome" where every combo tends to look the same. That being said, bamboo's do look unlike any other base morph in terms of colour. Also note that bamboo is part of the BeL complex so it makes white snakes.

Clown is more modifyable and there is a lot you can do with it, problem is everyone else is working with it. If that doesn't bother you then you should go with clown.

In terms of price volility, clown seems to be a better bet becauee imo bamboo is coming down slowly but surely. Also clown is recessive so that adds to the longevity.

Clown. It seems to be the next pied as far as value. Bamboo just doesn't carry over well imho.

Recessive projects with always hold their value better.

Just tell your wife you will get as many snakes as she has chickens

Not all bamboo/champagne combos look the same but I see what you're getting at. That's the main reason why I'm not a big fan of bamboo...

Maybe you should pick up a female bamboo het clown and pick up a male clown down the road.

I love bel complex stuff and bamboo seems to be very limiting and high priced for what it is. Eventually I will have one to round my bel stuff out but not for what they are selling for now.

Thanks. I think I'll stick to my plan and go with a clown.

i remember when i first saw a Bamboo. i thought it was a Hypo Blade Clown. Bamboo's have this this coloration and glow unlike any other morph. it's looks like the end goal of a few different genes and that's why i thought Hypo Blade Clown.

i also think u should get both. or at least maybe eventually.
    RIP Mamba

If I got both in a close time period, I'd have to get rid of my wife. I'd then be wearing dirty underwear for who knows how long til my first clutch will come along to let me buy a new pack.
