How much Betadine should I use to treat Scale rot?

So I concluded recently that my little ball python has scale rot. I've done some research on how to treat it, and one thing I found was that you should soak the infected area in a betadine solution. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow to get him checked out, but until then I want to do all I can to help. I bought a 10% Betadine solution, but I haven't found a lot of information on how much I'm supposed to use. Do I mix it with water? Thanks in advance, anything helps!

well treatment can help but do you know how he got scale rot or are you sure its not a burn? I like most of the people on these forms will help if we can but require information on set up heating and the like (pictures are worth a 1000 words) and also pictures of the infected aera of the snake help to determin that it is nifact scale rot

I'm pretty sure it's scale rot, he probably got it due to humidity that was too high (I'm having trouble keeping the humidity balanced). I have a picture of the infected area. Some of the soil substrate is sticking to his scales because it's sort of sticky... also the area with the soil still has some old skin from his most recent shed, which he is wrapping up right now.
