Visual clown to visual clown 100% clown offspring
Visual clown to 100%het clown 50% chance per egg of clown offspring remaining are normal 100% het clown
100% het clown to 100% het clown 25% chance per egg of clown offspring remaining are 66%het clown

Guys :-) lol I know how to use the square :-) I am saying that clown effect other genes a lot. Like gypsy. So my question is to get that effect do you need both parents to have clown

If you want the morph to affect another morph, and that morph is a visual recessive like clown, the offspring will need to visually express the gene in order for it to have an effect on any other morph combo. So both parents need to at least be het so that the offspring has a chance to get the morph from it's parents.
Sometime exceptions occur... like het pieds throwing visual clues like ringers, or het ghost animals looking brighter. But that's not standard and not predictable. If you want the crazy pattern effect from clown, the animal HAS to be clown, which means both parents need to at least be het.

neither of them have to be visuals . But the offspring must be which brings you back to needing at least het clown on both parents
