Does any one elses bp do this??

We have 2 bp's,many of you have probably seen pics of Lucy & Medusa..well first off they are 2 completely different bp's,Lucy is docile, chill, and lazy lazy..Medusa is skittish,on edge, and you can't stick a hand in her enclosure without her investigating 😂...anyways ive never noticed Medusa do this but every time i feed Lucy right before she strikes (and sometimes she does it for a moment while strangling her prey) she literally wags/whips her tail like a pissed off kitty cat!! As stated, ive never witnessed Medusa do this or any other bp ive seen but it has me wondering is she really just THAT odd 😂😊

Tail wagging is a well documented behavior but not every beep does it for the same reason or all the time. It usually pops up either during feeding or mating/courting and the theory that i run across most often is that it's linked either to a hormonal response or elevated frustration for the snake.

I used to have an Angolan Python that would do that. She would literally smack that tail left and right..

My cornsnakes turn into rattle snakes when the food comes out. My male cornsnake will rattle while he's eating. It's hilarious.

Hahaha reminded me of my great dane hitting everything with his tail every time I serve his bowl.

Only a good ol' smelly meal can get that tail wiggle LOL
