    Cinny/Pewter???

So this past weekend I went to my first Repticon (ironically ON my birthday) and the boyfriend surprised me by buying a 3 year old male- was told he's a Cinnamon Pewter, loves to be held, proven breeder, all the nice lines. Then I was talking to a coworker and he stopped me to say that they were the same thing! Google searches give me a bunch of extremely similar snakes or ones mixed with other morphs. Thought I might ask the experts-

    Are they the same/different/extremely comparable?
How is it that I got a snake with both, was one parent a Cinnamon and the other a Pewter?

Any info would be great for this novice~

Your snake is either a Cinnamon or a Pewter

A cinnamon is a single gene animal, a pewter is a two genes animal (Cinny and Pastel), now pewter can also be made with Black Pastel as well (Black Pewter)

Some people will refer to their pewter as Cinny Pewter just to point out that it was made with a Cinny and not a Black Pastel.

Without a picture I can't tell you what you have.

It's a pewter so as I explained earlier soso the vendor probably used the term cinny pewter to put the emphasis on the fact that is was produced with a Cinnamon and not a Black Pastel

They can but they he can also be the result of another pairing, Sterling x Normal , Pewter X Normal, Cinny Combo X Pastel Combo, Pewter Combo X ???

No way to tell unless you can contact the breeder.

Basically his parents had some combination of cinny and pastel. Not necessarily that one was a cinny and one was a pastel
