Mine does that sometimes too. You got so lucky! I've caught my man yawning more often than this!

I've caught him yawning also but never when I have the camera ready. Lol. He looks so cute when he yawns. I love it. I can't wait to spend some time with him today. He fed on Saturday evening so I'm hoping he's ready to come out and visit for a few.

He looks great.
My two periscope literally all the time.
Try just putting him on your bed or something, and he'll probably periscope. Especially if you put his hide on the bed, he'll periscope from the hide.

I'm going to try that. That sounds so cool. He has such a great personality. It's so hard for me not to handle him all the time.

Beautiful little guy, is that shed stuck to his lower side? It definitely looks like it. Might wanna try a little soak with a wash cloth. And increase his humidity.

Yes it's shed. That's the plan for tonight. He fed on Saturday so I haven't messed with him at all. I'm hoping to be able to get the rest of it off. We soaked him on Saturday before his feed and used the wet washcloth idea to get all but that small area off. I'm new to this whole snake keeping stuff. Only had him for two weeks.

He sure is a cute little guy! Looking much better than how he looked with all that dry skin, a little left to go but still, much better. Glad the soak worked for you. Just give him another soak and once the skin has softened up you can let him pull through your soft grip and the leftovers should peal right off. I hope you were able to get your humidity up in his enclosure so you never have to worry about going through a bad shed again. Keep up the good work!
