    This was a cpl summers ago.. yes..we eat them. Some ppl pay obsurd amts of money for a tiny 6oz piece.. We do not.

    Did some rabbit hunting recently.. I have a deer tag to fill (archery).. we will be on the lake fishing in our boat inna few days in fact... and there is a mtn lion I have been tracking for a bit... I have mtn lion tag to fill as well. We fill our freezer w what we hunt.. we hardly buy meat in the stores now. We deer hunt, elk, quail, dove, duck..squirrel.. list is huge.

    It was an alright year I hunted from before I could remember up until a few years ago when I started working 7 days a week 12 hour days and had kids lol that might've been the same year that I shot my 12 point buck but had to give dad credit b you can only shoot one buck in my county/state

    I hope to rely mostly on my hunts someday as well. Where did you go for the javelinas? The rattler looks delicious. I fry them most of the time and treat them like chicken, but you can also add them to soup. I'd love to see pictures of your lion when you get it. Do you use dogs to track them? Always wanted to go after one, but to be frank I don't love hunting predators. Then again, mtn. lion meat is delicious.

    We have javelina here in Az..all over.. just gotta know where they hang out.. they love prickly pear cactus..

    I dont use dogs to track anything.. I do it myself..requires alot of time and patience. IMO it isnt ethical to use dogs to track anything.. puts the hunter at an unfair advantage.. mmm mnt lion meat is awesome. But I personally appreciate thm more when I had to work for them myself.

    Preditor hunting can be rough.. What is it you dont like abt it if U dnt mind me asking?
