    reese new tub.

hey all i decided to make reese a new tub. my first tub which did its purpose for him was, well not a good choice. i purchased an under tank heat mat from i believe zilla, and it did not work like i assumed it should. i seen countless post and videos saying they are a good choice but somewhere i missed not so good for plastic. the mat have detached multiple times so i bought spacers to keep it in place and as you all say a hiding ball is a happy ball. all reese do is hide in both of his hides i just didnt want to deal with a mistake by being at work since i work nights and the heat mat detached and fried my lil buddy.

so now i up graded to flexwatt heat tape with my new enclosure with two identical hides and i installed half and half with newspaper on the hot side and aspen on the cool side. i also installed a led strip light as well as some greenery for him to feel more secure. i plan on switching him over tonight

Awesome! Nice to see more tub people lol. Also I would suggest not using the LED strip. The light bothers them. Nice setup!

Sweet! Looks like you have some clutter in there to take up some space. I just moved one of mine into a larger tub. She finally outgrew her old one.
