Welp... seems like I've finally given into the majority Siracha is awesome!!! Though I do prefer Cholula in Mexican foods (nachos, burritos, tacos etc.)

I use sriracha to add heat at home. At restaurants I usually go for Habenero based sauces. Like at Buffalo Wild Wings I get Manga Habenero.

Mmmm that mango habanero is good, that's what I get too. I carry those tiny bottles of regular Tabasco everywhere since I live in bland MN and most places don't even have hot sauce around or vinegar for my fries lol. I prefer their jalapeno kind on my pizza. Big fan of just about anything spicy though. Sriracha doesn't do it for me but it's the hubby's favorite, and it's good in other things, I made a maple garlic glaze with it last night for our pork that had a really nice amount of kick.

It really depends on what i am eating. I like to try 3 or 4 different hot sauces to see what tastes best, sometimes i will keep changing it up while i eat a dish.

I have a whole shelf in my fridge dedicated to hot sauce and they all have their specific use. I probably use Sriracha the most, but my favorite flavor wise is Blair's mega death sauce. Be warned that stuff is not for the weak.

Re: What's Your Favorite Hot Sauce?

I don't use much hot sauce. But last summer I grew a couple scotch bonnets and a couple ghost pepper plants. I got about a gallon bag of each pepper. So I just throw a half of whichever I feel like I'm what I'm eating. The ghost is just plain heat and and the scotch bonnets have great flavor with lots of heat. This year I've got some chocolate scorpions and Peter peppers sprouting.

Louisiana is my goto hot sauce. It's low on the heat meter but I've always just liked the taste of the stuff. I'm always searching for a good jalapeno based sauce because they're simply my favorite chili pepper. I have a section of garden reserved for peppers only and always keep 4-5 jalapeno plants going while throwing in a few random new varieties each year.
