Saying goodbye to a faithful canine companion
My 13 year old beagle/boxer mix Hailey is being euthanized here in my home today at 3 p.m. I am loving on her more then I have in my entire life. She slept with me last night and I had my arm around her. She has reached the end of a very good life and is suffering greatly and it is my duty to her to lay her to rest. I am both torn up and dying on the inside because I am losing my baby girl but at the same time I am setting her free. She is the best dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning, not a mean bone in her body, very kind and loving. She always tolerated my snakes my very well, heck she would lick them. I will never find another Hailey, but I do know that I love her as I have never loved another dog in my life. Good things have happened to me this month but I guess you have the take the bad with the good.
RIP my beautiful Hailey.

So sorry for your loss.
While losing any pet is tough, there is something so much more gut-wrenching about losing the best companion ever. They just seem connected to your soul. Thus, never forgotten.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

So sorry to hear Hailey will be passing. That is such a difficult decision to have to make, but you're right, there is a time to do what's best for our animals. You and Hailey are in my thoughts...R.I.P. sweet dog, you won't be forgotten

So sorry for your sadness. We also put our 13 yr old down that was here to bring our children into the world and help raise and protect them. What a gift these wonderful pets are to all of us. God Bless until we all meet again. Today is a celebration of her life.

My thoughts and prayers are with you today. I let my girl, Mackenzie, know to greet Hailey with lots of love when they meet. We had to say goodbye to Mackenzie on January 21st - hardest decision I ever had to make, but it was absolutely the right one. Sending lots of love your way.
