You can also use a theme... if you plan on getting more than one eventually. So, if you watch The Walking Dead, you might start naming them after characters from the show... based on features on the snake.

All my fish are named after "Sons of Anarchy" characters. And my two corn snakes are name after "House of 1,000 Corpses"/"The Devil's Rejects" characters.

Best advice I can give, have the animal a month before you name it and don't involve five year old little girls on a disney kick otherwise you might end up with an unholy terror named Snow White.
