Purchase Review of XYZReptiles - Baby Purple Passion Ball Python

Hello all! I wanted to post my review on a recent order from XYZReptiles that arrived today. I have a video link on my YouTube Channel. However, I am providing a summary below:

    Great customer service:
I called the day before I ordered to ask if I was to breed a male Purple Passion Ball to a female Potion Ball from his company if I would need to be worried about inbreeding. He assure me that it will not be an issue.

I asked what temperature parameters he keeps the Ball, he stated 80-82 consistent without a hot spot. This is important to know as my White Diamond from LLL Reptile was kept at 80-82 with a hot spot of 90-92. To minimize stress in the new environment I want to be as consistent as possible.

The day he was going to ship there was an issue. I ordered the male, which was the only one they had available (no more males and sold out of females). They called stating there was an issue that they only had one female left. They asked what would I like to do. I asked what are my options as the female was about $100 more. He stated, their mistake, they will eat the cost. Which I was happy to accept the female.

    The snake:
Very healthy and responsive right out of the bag. Wanted to be held and not go in the quarantine terrarium.

Thanks for the review. I think I'm going to go with a local breeder when I'm ready, but if not, I've been looking at the XYZReptile website. I started a wishlist on their site, and it has gotten pretty long. I'm going to have to cut that down to 2 if I do order from them.

Re: Purchase Review of XYZReptiles - Baby Purple Passion Ball Python

Thanks for posting this review and video. I just placed an order this morning at XYZReptiles and I was wondering about what information they would include when they send the snake. Do they tell you when the snake was last fed? This will be our first so I am a bit nervous about getting everything right.

Your Purple Passion is gorgeous! I hope she is doing well!
