Feeding Size?
So I got my Normal BP for Christmas, and the person I got her from told me that she should be fed two adult mice every Sunday. Well I'm fine with feeding her every Sunday, but I don't know if two adults is the correct amount for her to be eating. She's about 118g, 1'8". I've been told to feed her about 10-15% of her body weight and just want to confirm that that is correct. Don't want my baby to eat to much and regurgitate, nor do I want to feed her too little.
1.0 Normal BP "Calliope"
0.1 Hypo Leopard Gecko “El”
1.0 Normal Leopard Gecko “Axle”
0.0.1 Poecilotheria Regalis
0.0.1 Poecilotheri Subfusca
1.0 Siamese mix cat “Kurt”
1.0 DLH Cat “Vodka”
0.0.1 Suriname Red Tail Boa

the best way to know how much food she's getting is to weigh her prey items and do the conversion math. if two adult mice = 15% of her body weight, you're doing it right. If it's significantly more, adjust the amount. If it's less, well, feed less.

Re: Feeding Size?
So the 15% thing is correct?
1.0 Normal BP "Calliope"

0.0.1 Poecilotheria Regalis
0.0.1 Poecilotheri Subfusca

One adult mouse is more than sufficient, 2 is overfeeding. (Adult mice are between 25 and 35 grams anything smaller is not an adult mouse)
You want to feed a prey equal the girth size once a week until the snake reaches 500 grams.

I wouldn't push 2 adult mice, 1 every 5 to 7 days is enough.
Yes you can do the 15% rule till about 500 grams, by then its a small rat a week.
