Progression Thread for a Pastel Axanthic (Oliver)

Recently obtained my first ball python, a pastel axanthic male. After some helpful input from you all I settled on the name Oliver (or Ollie). He seems to have settled in nicely for me, I've had him for just over a week and he took his second meal for me today. So excited to watch this guy grow!
I weighed him yesterday and he's only 78 grams. He hatched on October 21st, 2016.

Re: Progression Thread for a Pastel Axanthic (Oliver)

He took his first frozen thawed for me today which I was ridiculously excited about. Last week he'd only eat live but I figured I'd still try frozen first just to see. And success!

From earlier this week, this was the first time I had him out since I got him. It's so neat to me how they will slither right up alongside straight things.

Good looking little fella. Congrats 🍾 on switching to frozen!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Re: Progression Thread for a Pastel Axanthic (Oliver)

I find vpi axanthic the best just because the 100% het vpi axanthic babies are always nicer and have a brighter back I first heard another breeder mention it in a thread then a youtube video and when I had my first clutch of them I noticed it too
