    My Ball Python - Zuka

So, watched some videos and learned a lot more about handling snakes and being more confident with them today and figured ide let Zuka out to explore and get to know me more. I don't know much about snakes but Zuka seems to be super chill and laid back. Yet, he is a little head shy. Anytime I get around an inch or two behind his head, he gets a little spooked. I'm guessing that's normal. But, I took him from his hide and let him have some out of cage time. I think he's absolutely beautiful. Though, he's just a regular ball, to me he's gorgeous. One day, I'll own a Blue eyed albino.. those are stunning. But, here's a few pictures, a couple close up!

Thank you! I absolutely love him. I cannot help myself to handling him. But, I do try and watch how much I take him from his hide so he doesn't get ticked off. How old do you think he is and how often do you think I should feed him?

I'm bad at guessing ages...looks like a 2016 hatchling to me...lol...did you get from a store or a breeder? There are a lot more knowledgeable herpers on here, usually I see 5-7 days as a recommendation for a hatchling. And BTW, a blue eyed Lucy is a super form, not an albino...

Re: My Ball Python - Zuka

I purchased him from Petsmart being that I'm new to owning snakes. Not a lot of people like Petsmart but he seems pretty friendly and healthy to me. Then again, I don't know. The first date on the feed schedule they gave me was Dec 4th. I talked to a woman that owns an exotic animal store and she said he looks to be 2-3 months. And as well, she told me to feed him either twice a week or once a week as well. Just depends on how fast I want him to grow, as what she said. Lol, don't know much about snakes so didn't know what a blue eye fell under. I just want one lol. That or a piebald morph.

My god what a beautiful snake man. I don't know what it is about the white man, I just love it. My lady doesn't like the white pythons but I think they are absolutely stunning. And Cletus, it was just listed as a Ball Python.

I love normals, they're my favorite

He looks to be around the same size as Choco, who was also born this year but was a twin so very small.
