I got my 2 1/2 year old male back in September. Although he looked real healthy when I got him, I suspect the previous owner was underfeeding because he was small (round and not emaciated looking, just small)
Started feeding him small f/t rats as soon as I got him and started weighing him about a month later. Feed him one small every 7 days.
Here is my weight log:
10/11/16: 573g
10/25/16: 607g
11/18/16: 647g
12/14/16: 722g
Tried to weigh accurately as in 4+/- days after feed and tried to time it after bowel movements to eliminate feeder and waste weight from the readings.
Just wanted to post this to see if anyone thinks his gain is too much too fast (this is my first BP so I don't have a basis as to how fast they gain.) He is gaining in both length and girth and it looks like healthy gains, not obese gains.
