    Big for his age?

Granted he is obviously about to poop, haha, but nearly 200 grams and hatched early October! My beautiful Black Widow. <3

On a side note, my last thread got me wondering what would be some good morphs to breed him to later on down the road?

He's definitely growing well! It's hard to compare weight for snakes though since they hatch out at various sizes and then grow at different paces too.

My male hatched August 4th 2016 is ~200g and my female born September 1st 2016 is 118g. I'm a weekly feeding schedule with them.

Personally, I plan on breeding my mojave bumblebee to a banana because I just love how banana spiders and all other banana morphs look. It's really up to what you like though

He is a little monster! Looks for food on the second day after feeding, haha. I think mice may be getting too small.

You know, I don't really like banana morphs but I love banana spiders.

And I have been thinking a bit and I was kinda looking at getting a lemonblast female or emperor pinstripe female, and then a bamboo female.

For what it is worth, some of the anecdotal data on growth rates I have seen shows males growing faster initially and then females (typically) later overtake them.

That said, 200g at that age is probably on the larger side, but certainly not unheard of.

Some compiled data from the UK

Yes he's a highway. If he keeps growing at the rate he is I may try to breed him to a super pastel yellowbelly late in breeding season to see if I get lucky and get a viable clutch.
