A lot of people kill their first squams if they get a fresh import baby. Best bet is to try and get an established adult.

Good luck! Venoms not horrible and the few bites I've read didnt take SAIMR or Africa polyvalent to correct.

Yea, I was talking to a few people who have them. I'm not sure if Fascination Herps has CB or not, but that's likely who I'll get mine from. I want one that's already established on a full pinkie instead of pinkie parts. I was also doing a bit of research on the their venom type which is hemotoxic. I also red a few bites and apparently they still don't have antivenin. Not that I plan to get bit, but I would rather know everything about the species that I keep. This will likely be my only hot that I plan to get, I'm sure that's what most people say too. lol

Erik at fascination is import from Africa. I see him at the local shows. He has some good looking squams but know what you're getting. Pinky parts aren't a bad thing to work with. Eyelash Vipers start off the same.

No anti venom is true but SAIMR is effective as a treatment in a bind. But many people have an allergy to it do to equine nature of it.

If you want true captive bred Alexander England just had some born and will be offering them in the future.

I'll have to look up Alexander England. Also Erik has CB as well as imports. I'm thinking I want to go after a captive. Pinky parts aren't bad to start with, but I would prefer to deal with something that's well established and on whole pinkies, more so because I'm dealing with ft.
