Black Pastel Pied developing a freckle!

Well my black pastel pied boy just hit three months old and I've been noticing him getting a freckle. I don't know if anyone else has any experience with this but I think it's awesome. You can see in pic #1 he doesn't have anything, pic #2 is a light grey scale (this is when I noticed it) and then pic #3 is the one I took yesterday (several black scales). Each pic is almost exactly a month apart.

Is this common with pieds? It's so cool; I wish he'd get more!

My pastel pied has a spot on her tail now that she never had previously, and much like you I hope she grows a few more over time! They're such cute little markings. Your pied is simply stunning, by the way, I love his coloration. o: It is such a rich, smooth color.

Here's a picture of Cinnamon Roll October of last year and then another from two days ago. I'm unsure how it happens or how common it is, but I'm very glad it did as I always have wanted a piebald with a random spot on her/him! I was shocked when I first saw it.

My back pastel pied is still developing new spots even after six years.

It is fairly common in pieds for them to develop spots as they age.

Thank you! I love his color too. It's such a deep reddish orange color.

I saw a pied ball python with spots all over it a while ago and fell in love with it's "dalmatian" like spots. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope mine gets a few more spots!
