Re: what does your snake cage look like?
My hognose and dumerils boa cages right now, these two both move around a lot and trash whatever I put in. I rotate wood pieces and what type of bedding during cage cleans for a little change of pace. Always on the hunt for cage decor, I just got a bunch of huge driftwood but it went to my iguana cage this time.

For what it's worth, I've found that my BP likes to spend the day in one of the completely close-in, tight, dark hides; but in the evenings, he moves into one of his open-ended tubes where he can check out what's going on around him more easily. As long as your snake has choices, and some of those are enclosed and secure, there's no problem with also providing more open ones as well.
