ha ha....it freaks me out when they get all twisted like that Just a suggestion, try feeding him a hopper next time if you can...hatchling bps can generally take a hopper right out of the egg, so its always worth a shot ( ...and he will grow a bit faster too).

I definately agree with Daniel, the prey items are much too small, and it will use more of his energy to digest that mouse than the mouse will provide to him. Try two hoppers or a small adult. The snake is a little underweight and the extra meat on the prey item will help fill him out.

First off, that was the first time I fed him f/t and that was all I had in my freezer. When I do feed him small things he gets two. I have tried feeding him small mice, and he won't eat them. He bites, and strikes but won't actually eat them. My Ball is not underweight, and you can't say that he is unless you actually see him in person.

what should i be feeding my bp. he is about a month old and looks alot like the bp in the pic above. i dont know what a hopper is, just petco and petsmart terms. i know pinky, fuzzy, small mouse, large mouse, and adult rat. so any sugestions?<img src="http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a206/lifetime_of_hurt/snake011.jpg">
