New addition
So this guy came in yesterday. I went to make some adjustments to his enclosure as I severely underestimated his size. Anyways I figured I'd snap some pictures of him.

It's a kunashir island rat snake. He'll either turn green or blue as an adult.

Congrats Neal!
Looking forward to see which color he matures into.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

You and me both. Lol.
I'm in the process of adding some stuff for him to climb. Along with a fake plant or two. My only thing is when he gets bigger to go in the apcage, I'm not sure what will stick to put fake vines in there.

What comes to mind is to directly screw the ends into the wall or wrap them around a clothes rod or two that are installed.

That's actually not a bad idea. I was trying to rearrange some stuff in his cage and he came out of his hide just to bite me then went back in. REALLY?
I was thinking about maybe using some of that silicon and making sure it sticks that way.

That's funny he came out to bite. Sounds like a great personality in the making.
Silicone sounds good. Anytime you can avoid metal for theses guys is good.

Neal,
That's pretty neat. I like those and think the activity level will be something else.
Keep the photo updates coming!
