from my understanding as soon as they reach the size you want for your water dragon.... i am also new to breeding but im breeding my mice for my ball python and for my soon to be newest edition red tail boa... hope this helps but like i said im new to breeding..... i dont think it would hurt anything to feed them off as soon as they are born but im not sure enough to give you a 100% honest answer.

I can tell you that my pinkies are already hitting 3.5 - 4.5g just a couple days after being born. So depending on what size tou need, you may have to pull them and freeze them if you want to have a steady supply of pinkies. Ordering them already frozen may be easier.
