Our first ball python
My 3 year old has been begging for a snake for months, after we took him to a pet and reptile expo, it got even worse so, my husband and I did some research and bought a ball python. We bought him from a reptile store, that breeds their own ball pythons and has been doing it for several decades. He is quite knowledgeable and has been really good for answering any all of questions. The only thing he hasn't been able to answer is what (if any) morph our snake has. He looks nothing like the other regular or albino snakes they had and when we bought him, we were told that he may have a morph. A younger breeder had mentioned it to the owner but, he's kind of old school and isn't an expert on all the different morphs. Any ideas?

I can't figure out how to edit this. I meant pastels not albinos. Obviously he doesn't look like an albino. Had a pregnant brain moment there.

Yeah, I agree with sneakysnake611, he definitely has pastel, but I can't tell if it has mojave. Notice his eyes though, a bluish line above the whole eye ball, might be a BEL Complex + Pastel.
Beautiful snake

Possibly pastave. I don't see how they can be such experienced, knowledgeable breeders but don't even know what animals they're breeding together. Either way, I'm sure it'll be a great pet. My 3 and 4 year olds love our snakes.

Re: Our first ball python
He doesnt usually deal woth morphs. He has normals and pastels and on a rare occasion has an albino or pied. This guy was labeled as a pastel but, didn't really fit with either pastel or normal. We let my son pick his snake. We don't really care what he is to be honest. He's calm and relaxed so my boy can handle him and that's what matters the most to us.
I should also add that this is the only snake from that breeding that looked like this. The rest were normal or pastel.

Looks like a pewter of some sort. Pastel combined with either cinnamon or black pastel.
