    *FEEDBACK* Grubco.com

Yesterday, I got my order from these guys, never ordered from them before (on the net), so here is how it went.

    1000 crix (1/4 in.) $14.00
    1000 crix (1/2 in.) $14.00
    1000 mini meal worms $ 5.00
    500 superworms $14.00
    500 wax worms $10.00

    SubTotal- $57.00

    Total (after shipping) $67.35

*As of this AM, no die offs due to shipping. So thats AWESOME!

***There was a nice over count from what I can see visually on all bugs.

The worm collection was sent directly from thier facility here in Ohio, the crix came out of Tennessee. Worms were sent UPS over night, and crix USPS. UPS was not so gentle with the worm box, and it even said "perishable" right on the side. The supers and mini meal worms came packaged in what looks like a small snake bag made of burlap, with news paper stuffed inside for bedding. Unpacking them was ok, the supers were easier b/c we just poured them all out into a rubbermaid and shook out the newpaper and gave them bran bedding and then they were put into containers.. the mini mealies were a beast, they are so tiny you have to gently turn the bag inside out, and then pick any off that are clinging (may not be so bad with bigger mealies, but I figure I can grow these up for my current needs), plus have to watch the inside seam of the bags for potential escapees. They too were given appropriate bedding and stored. The wax worms were in containers in bedding, not burlap bags. The crix came well, in fact, thier boxes were in better shape than UPS had presented my worms to me in. I am pleased with this company, and plan on ordering from them again, my only complaint was the minis were a beast to unpack.

I feel thier prices are pretty good, I spent time pricing through several companies for competivness.. plus I am a bit stiff when it comes to spending my money.. I WANT THE BEST DEAL! AND GENERALLY GET IT! But the fact that these guys are right here in Ohio just made it great for me. I have purchased from them before, at the Ohio Reptile Show, small numbers of worms and ofcourse, my crix, every month for the last few months that we have attended the shows since the weather got better. But, since we had not gone to the show earlier this month, we had to purchase through the net and have them shipped to us.

Pretty easy to breed roaches. Just feed them. They do the rest! Live birth, they'll eat table scraps, etc...
