    Question American Gerbils????

I'm trying to find frozen gerbils to buy to feed to one of my BPs that hasn't eaten in quite some time, only problem is that all the sites that sell frozen gerbils are based out of the UK and don't ship to the US. Does anyone out there know of anybody that sells frozen feeder gerbils that will ship to the United States??

What's your definition of "quite some time" and what size BP are we talking about? Also, why gerbils?

From what I've read, just don't resort to feeding gerbils- they'll get stuck on it and won't eat anything else, even when you want to go back to rats or mice again. If a ball python has eaten before, he will eat again.

I'd try live mice, before trying f/t gerbils.

Maybe some info and pics of your setup, and some info on your ball? How much does he weigh and how long hasn't he eaten? I see that people gave you good advice in your last thread- not sure if you applied that advice to your setup yet.

Changing prey item is not the solution, B go of feed, the important is to make sure that husbandry is optimum and to be PATIENT.

Gerbils are like crack to those snakes and they rarely will switch back.

So why would you want to switch to a food source that you cannot find?
