    White is pink now...

Mortimer is not white anymore, he is dirty pink with some spots...
Is this indicative of incoming shed or should I call a vet?

Here you can see the pinkish hue of his skin against the white paper... He also hasn't pooped in close to 2 months...

Looks like pre shed. He might stay pink for a day or two after the shed but if he's still pink after then that you'll know it's a problem.

    Could be a shed coming....
What is your heat source and how is it regulated?

Judging by that sausage butt, I'd say an upcoming shed/Poocasso is inevitable.

    Yay, I thought so!
I see Poocasso in my near future!

    PitOnTheProwl
He has a Ultratherm Heat Pad that is regulated by Ranco, 89-91 F.

I check on him today and found he barricaded the hot side hide entrance with a bunch of substrate (aspen)... I guess it's an equivalent of "Do Not Disturb" sign.

I have a few pieds that are pink most of the time, one in particular is almost always pink. I think it's totally normal.
