I so badly want to see...

I need you guys to talk me down off the ball python egg cutting ledge. The eggs are all fully dimpled (day 54 at 89-91...it's been hot here). I don't want to cut them because I think they need help...I just want to see inside! Must...resist...must not break open the sterile suture cutting kit that I nicked from work.

    Must be good. Right?

Haha, that was me a week ago. Since day 52 I wanted to cut and had to talk myself out of it. I decided to wait for a pip and if I got nothing by day 57 I would cut. Stay strong haha resist temptation.

Thank you! I do need to stay strong. The last few days are the hardest! Doesn't help that I'm home. I need to leave the house and remove the temptation. I swore I'd wait til first pip

A 'pip' is the term for when a ball python makes a slit in the egg and pokes their head out. It's the first stage of hatching.

I know!! Come out and play little ones! This last week of waiting is the hardest. However all of the eggs look really good and are nicely dimpled. ....soon....soon.

It's hard I know. Just let them hatch. When you think about it. Once you cut the eggs the suspense and fun is over. Give it another day or two.
